Alan Dunipace has more than 25 years experience in the field of pursuers' personal injury litigation in both the Court of Session and in the Sheriff Court.
Alan has a particular interest and involvement in cases involving head and spinal injury. He has represented clients in many high value cases including a number where the client required to be represented by a Financial Guardian. He has an excellent working relationship with counsel and expert witnesses involved in this area of work. Over the years Alan has represented clients before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board/Authority. He represented victims of the Piper Alpha and Ocean Odyssey disasters, and was instructed in the Fife Child Care Inquiry.
Alan sat as a temporary Sheriff between 1998 and 2000. He is a former part-time lecturer at the Law School of the University of Strathclyde.
