Fraser qualified as a solicitor in 1991, he joined Digby Brown in October 2000 and became a
partner in May 2005. Fraser is head of the Union Department and specialises in reparation actions
arising from industrial and road traffic and accidents. He also provides in-house training,
particularly in relation to Sheriff Court litigation. Fraser has extensive experience in
contentious matters, including Tribunals and Fatal Accident Inquiries. He litigates heavily in the
Sheriff Court and Court of Session. Fraser is also a member of the Motor Accident Solicitors
Society (MASS) and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Fraser also liaises with the road safety charity, BRAKE and recently assisted them to revise
the civil section in the Brake Care's Guide "Advice for Bereaved Families and Friends in Scotland
Following a Death on the Road" and has helped draft a new Brake Care guide "Advice for victims,
families and friends following a serious injury in a road crash in Scotland", which Digby Brown is
proud to sponsor.
