Brenda Mitchell graduated from Aberdeen University in 1984 and enrolled as a Solicitor in
1987. Brenda specialises in personal injury work and is a member of the Association of Personal
Injury Lawyers (APIL). With more than 20 years experience representing the interests of injured
motorcyclists, Brenda is widely recognised as one of Scotland’s leading experts in the field of
Motorcycle Accident Law. Brenda has a special interest in single vehicle accidents involving
motorcyclists who have lost control as a consequence of a road surface defect.
Brenda’s infectious enthusiasm for motorcycles and motorcycle sport is well known throughout
Digby Brown and at Scottish race circuits, where she can often be found supporting the motorcycle
racers who are sponsored by Digby Brown. Brenda is also closely involved with various clubs which
hold race meetings in Scotland, with Digby Brown sponsoring several high profile race meetings.
Having been a keen motorcyclist when she was younger, since having her two children, Brenda
has satisfied her love of riding motorcycles with off-road riding. However, Brenda recently
returned to the road on a Suzuki SV 650 and has enlisted on the Enhanced Rider Scheme
to brush up on her skills.
