25th Annual Guttmann Conference
The Beardsmore Hotel and Conference Centre hosted the 25th Guttmann Conference on 19th-20th
June 2008.
Over 150 delegates attended the conference which was proceeded by a welcome dinner on
Thursday 19th June before a full days activities discussing multi-disciplinary
practices. Digby Brown was proud to sponsor the event because of its close links with the
Spinal Injuries Unit at the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow. Robert Swanney, partner at Digby
Brown said: "We welcomed this opportunity to sponsor this event as it allowed us as solicitors to
gain more of an insight into the clinical needs of those affected by spinal cord injury and at the
same time discuss where and how Digby Brown's work in early intervention and applying the
rehabilitation code of practice can make a real difference."
