Digby Brown is nominated for Law Awards of Scotland 2009
The Law Awards of Scotland are set to be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 17th
September at the Hilton, Glasgow. The event brings together the legal profession’s brightest minds
and finest practitioners celebrate the accomplishments of those firms, organisations and
individuals who have achieved excellence in the profession in Scotland.
Chaired by his Lordship Lord MacLean, the judging panel has convened and concluded their
deliberations and Digby Brown LLP is pleased to be nominated in the Litigation Firm of the Year
category sponsored by StirlingPark. A second nomination for the firm has also been secured in the
Advocates poll.
Finally one of Digby Brown’s partners, Robert Swanney has been nominated for an individual
award in the Advocates poll alongside Donald Findlay QC and George Moore QC.
The Law Awards of Scotland in association with Registers of Scotland are the only independent
and the most credible legal awards in the country. Clive Stafford Smith, founder and legal director
