The 2007 Digby Brown Winter Dinner Dance for Spinal Injuires Scoltand
With over £46,000 raised for Spinal Injuires Scotland it goes without saying that the 2007
Winter Dinner Dance was a huge success. Over 430 people were entertained during the evening with
host Alison Craig conducting the activities as well as running the charity auction. Entertainment
on the night included ABBA (maybe not the actual line up), house band Rough Cut and new this
year, the casino with great prizes which went down a storm with the guests. A champagne reception
got proceedings off to a bubbling start and Marilyn Munroe and Sean Connery look-a-likes mingled
with magicians as prizes galore were won. And there was even time to squeeze in dinner.
Planned for 7th November this year, is something very special. As you might
expect there is the four course dinner and wine served in the splendour of the newly
refurbished Thistle Hotel ballroom - the largest venue in Scotland. A champage
reception goes without saying and we have a very special act to entertain you - SIREN. You can
expect more music from regulars “Rough Cut” and back by popular demand is the casino which was such
a huge hit previously.
The big news for this year - someone will
win a car in our grand prize draw.
