Spinal Injuries
The most common causes of spinal injury are road traffic, industrial and sporting accidents,
falls and accidents in the home, as well as criminal assaults.
Depending on the level of injury there will be an impact on working life as well as on day to
day living. Victims of spinal injuries can require long-term medical care and can face extremely
high care costs. Their existing home may no longer be suitable. It may not be possible for
them to return their pre-accident employment, and they may also need help with transport.
Digby Brown aim not only to assist our clients to receive full and prompt compensation, but
also to help them to achieve the best outcome physically, psychologically and emotionally. We
try to start this process from the moment we are instructed rather than waiting for compensation to
be awarded. We subscribe fully to the Rehabilitation Code of Practice and to the (APIL)
Association of Personal Injury Lawyer’s Best Practice Guide to Rehabilitation. We recognise
that the medical condition and quality of life may be improved by early intervention, by the
carrying out of an immediate needs assessment and by early interim payments.
We are recommended by
Spinal Injuries Scotland as their solicitors
of choice.
