Digby Brown has been recognised as experts in their field with National Awards

Over the last three year years Digby Brown has been honored to receive a number of awards in recognition of the work carried out on behalf of it's clients.

In 2009, the firm won The Law Awards for Scotland under the categories: Litigation Firm of the Year and Advocates Poll for Firm of the Year.

In 2010, the firm won The Scott & Co. Legal Award for Litigation Team of the Year and was shortlisted for the Eclipse Proclaim Claimant Personal Injury Team of the Year.

In 2011, the firm was again Highly Commended in The Scott & Co. Legal Award for Litigation Team of the Year and were winners in the Category of Corporate Social Responsibility Firm of the Year in recognition of the work Digby Brown is involved in with charities in Scotland.

Although it is gratifying to receive these awards, this is not the sole purpose why the firm enters them.  As a benchmark for our success and to gauge what we are doing for our clients we see huge merit in asking others to judge our standards.  In the field of litigation, the adversarial process in which all personal injury claims are settled, either through robust negotiations or the court process, to be recognised as the leading firm over the last three to four years is reassuring - we are definitely doing something right.

The Digby Brown Winter Dinner Dance for Spinal Injuries Scotland

The Winter Dinner Dance is an annual event which Digby Brown organises on behalf of Spinal injuries Scotland to raise vital funds for this inspirational charity.  The inaugural dinner took place in 2002 with Digby Brown becoming involved in 2004 since when it has steadily grown year on year to the event it is today.

The dinner has been held for the last five years in the Thistle Hotel Glasgow, the grand ballroom being one of the few venues in the West which can host an event of this size.  As the dinner has grown so has the entertainment which ensures the guests have a night to remember.  The last two years have seen our star turns being Karen Dunbar and for 2011 we had Ruby Wax.  Whilst the guests are enjoying a four course feast and the odd glass of wine, a variety of games, auctions, prize draws, usually with a car a prize and a regular casino, gently take their money to raise vital funds for the charity.  Last year alone the dinner raised almost £60,000.

This year the dinner will be on Friday the 9th of November, same venue, the Thistle Hotel.  For information and to book tables contact: Craig Semple on 0131 319 8147.
