Kathleen joined us as welfare rights adviser in 2008 following over 20 years experience within the Department for Work and Pensions. She has worked in a variety of posts within the DWP including Customer Liaison Manager specialising in giving benefits advice and assistance to DWP clients, and as Partner Liaison Manager working with other organisations to help deliver services to older people.
Kathleen has recently been appointed as Client Support Manager within Digby Brown’s catastrophic injury department, managing the welfare rights team and providing a contact for help and assistance to the many charities which Digby Brown is proud to support; such as Headway, Child Brain Injury Trust and Spinal Injuries Scotland to name but a few.
Kathleen is a member of the Brain Injury Network Group which is an organisation set up in the West of Scotland to raise awareness of services which people can access and to build relationships between the different services. She helps plan the Group’s Head Injury Information Day which is sponsored by Digby Brown and held during Brain Injury Awareness Week
