Melanie joined Digby Brown as a Work Experience Student in 2003 after graduating with an Honours Degree in Law from Glasgow University. She went on to complete her two year Traineeship with us and qualified as a Solicitor in 2006.  She works in the Catastrophic Injury Department, where she has been involved in the conduct of a number of high value brain and spinal cord injury cases. She has also worked in our Referral Department dealing with cases referred to Digby Brown by other firms at various stages of the claim process. She has conducted a number of Proofs in the Sheriff Court and has also appeared regularly seeking the appointment of Financial and Welfare Guardians. Melanie is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Melanie has been involved in pursuing claims for damages, not only in Scotland, but also in France and Spain.
