    Corrective surgery required to put right initial operation

    The client underwent a partial trapeziotomy operation on her right thumb as opposed to a full trapeziotomy which was planned. She required corrective surgery. The pursuer developed CRPS and suffered complications from the corrective surgery. A court action was raised and, after negotiations, the case settled for £8500.
