Negligent dental treatment requires substantive remedial treatment
The client sustained injury to her teeth when undergoing complex treatment, as a result of negligent treatment from her dentist. She was unable to eat and required to tolerate a denture which repeatedly snapped. She required time off work. Substantive remedial treatment, involving implants, was required costing approximately £13,000. A court action was raised. An initial offer of £13,175 was made however the case settled for £20,000 after negotiations.
