Fraser qualified as a solicitor in 1990, joined Digby Brown LLP in 2000 and was made partner in 2005. In 2009, he took charge of Digby Brown's Union department, working for, amongst others, GMB Scotland, servicing the legal needs of over 60,000 Union members for whom over £5 million in personal injury damages is recovered annually.
Fraser is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury and has been a Solicitor member of the Sheriff Court Rules Council since 2008. As the only personal injury specialist on the Council he has enjoyed a prominent role in drafting and introducing new Ordinary and Summary Cause rules for personal injury procedure in the Sheriff Court.
Fraser is accredited as Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
In addition to his legal commitments, Fraser volunteers as a media spokesperson for Brake, the road safety charity in Scotland.
