Fatal road accident secures compensation with Digby Brown Aberdeen

Car driving in the rain on country road

Specialist solicitors in personal injury, our Aberdeen office at Digby Brown represented a family after a road traffic accident in Aberdeenshire proved fatal.

The car accident occurred when the driver, along with a passenger, were travelling along a country road in Aberdeenshire at a high speed and lost control of the car. The car left the road and crashed, rolling several times before coming to a stop. The driver survived but the passenger died as a result of the injuries. The driver was found guilty of causing death by careless driving.

This tragic death has left behind a grieving family and has impacted enormously on their lives. Digby Brown personal injury solicitors in Aberdeen have helped secure compensation for the fatal road accident of their loved one.

At Digby Brown, we see first-hand the devastating effects that road traffic accidents can have and are committed to not only helping people secure compensation for accidents caused as the result of negligence of others, but to reduce the number of needless accidents on the road.

Brake, the road safety charity, has found that every day there are 5 deaths and 64 serious injuries on roads around the UK– and most accidents are a direct result of driver error.

We work closely with Brake, offering legal advice to victims of road accidents, and Fraser Simpson, Partner at Digby Brown and Scottish spokesperson for Brake will be attending the launch of their new campaign ‘drive less, live more’ in Glasgow on 23rd November. This is part of their Road Safety Week which we support and this seeks to raise awareness and encourage people to drive less and consider other travel options such as walking, helping reduce air pollution and promote public health.
