How do you justify your claim that you are the number 1 personal injury law firm in Scotland?
Digby Brown claim to be the number one firm of personal injury lawyers in Scotland. We have detailed below some of the reasons behind why we believe this.
We are the only firm to be top ranked for personal injury by both the top two independent legal directories in the UK, Chambers Guide to the UK Legal profession and Legal 500 respectively. Digby Brown have been top ranked in Chambers for the last twelve years and top ranked by Legal 500 for the last ten.
What does that mean? These directories are the who’s who of the legal sector across the United Kingdom, with dedicated sections covering each region and area of expertise. They are compiled by interviewing other legal firms and associated organisations and finding out who they regard as experts in any chosen legal field.
The Law Society of Scotland, our governing body, ranks 13 of the partners in the firm as specialists in the field of personal injury and around a half of all the lawyers in Scotland listed by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) work at Digby Brown.
Our work in the field of personal injury has been recognised with awards – in March 2018, Digby Brown were named Firm of the Year again and received Community Contribution Award at the Legal Awards in Scotland. In 2016, we were named Firm of the Year and in 2015, we won a series of accolades at the 2015 Scott & Co. Legal Awards: We were named Firm of the Year, recognised as the Employer of the Year, named Litigation Team of the Year and received the Community Contribution award for the second year running.
We are big. Simple as that, we have seven offices across Scotland; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Inverness, Aberdeen and Ayr, which accommodates over 250 staff.
Does that matter? As the largest firm of personal injury lawyers in Scotland – we have the required resources both in terms of people, financial muscle and processes to ensure you receive the best service we can possibly offer.
