International Asbestos Memorial in Clydebank

Clydebank was named the asbestos capital of Europe due to the high scale of heavy industry in the area.

As such, it was proposed by Clydebank Asbestos Group that there should be a memorial in Clydebank for the known and unknown victims of asbestos disease. This was built on Glasgow Road, overlooked by the Titan Crane, and was unveiled in May 2015.

Digby Brown Support for Clydebank Asbestos Group

At Digby Brown, we support the charity in a number of ways to help them reach more people in Scotland who suffer from an Asbestos related disease.

We helped support the charity to, alongside Asbestos Action, hold a conference on Asbestos: Challenges today and the threat to future generations. This conference focuses on raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos today and how it will affect people going forward.

Our specialist Asbestos Disease solicitors also provide free legal advice for members of the charity about their rights to compensation for themselves and their family.
