Cheque presentation follows 2016 fundraising efforts in Kirkcaldy

People with arms linked

All of our local offices have partnerships with local charities. Our Kirkcaldy office choose the Cottage Family Centre in Templehall as its charity for 2016.

The Cottage Family Centre

The Cottage Family Centre provides a range of support to families and individuals who are vulnerable to social exclusion as a result of a wide ranging set of factors such as poverty, unemployment, poor housing, relationship breakdown, drug and alcohol problems and health related issues.

Members of our Kirkcaldy team visited the centre earlier in the year and we know just how vital their work is locally. Throughout 2016, the office have been fundraising to support the charity, including a successful pub quiz, bake sales and weekly dress-down Fridays, where £1 per employee per week goes to the charity.

They also helped the charity with their big Christmas push to collect and deliver christmas presents for local children in need.

Cheque Presenation

Last week, Innes Laing, Partner in our Kirkcaldy office, and Shona Ewing, our local charity ambassador, visited the centre to present a cheque for £3,417.58, all funds raised by the efforts of Digby Brown staff, a terrific effort!

The presentation was covered in the Fife Free Press, see below.
