Digby Brown Ayr sponsor ‘An afternoon celebrating Robert Burns’

Digby Brown Solicitors office in Ayr were delighted to support and attend The Herald and The Sunday Herald event ‘An afternoon celebrating Robert Burns’ which took place on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Brig o Doon Hotel, Alloway.

Damian White, Digby Brown Partner and head of our Ayr Office,  attended the event and described the importance of Burns and Digby Brown's committment to being part of the Ayrshire community. 

As part of the afternoon, there was a panel discussing what the Bard means to them, and the broader influence he has had on Scottish literature and culture.

Many well-known Scots attended the event including broadcaster and host Cathy MacDonald, actor and entertainer Joyce Falconer, comedian and actor Mark Cox, actor Jane McCarry and journalist Lesley Riddoch.

Guests were treated to a delicious three course Burns lunch with a dram, and entertainment throughout the day.
