Digby Brown raises over £22,500 for Child Brain Injury Trust

Digby Brown are honoured to have organised a fundraising dinner for the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT), raising over £22,500 on the night to help children with acquired brain injuries in Scotland.

This adds to the quarter of a million pounds already raised by Digby Brown for the charity.

Balmoral Hotel provides spectacular setting

The dinner was a black tie event held on Thursday 2nd June 2016 at Edinburgh’s impressive Balmoral Hotel, providing a spectacular setting for the night.

Jojo Sutherland - Compere

Comedian Jojo Sutherland generously donated her time and was the compere for the evening. This was a charity close to Jojo’s heart as she herself had suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Lisa Turan, CEO at Child Brain Injury Trust

Lisa Turan, CEO at Child Brain Injury trust began the night with a heartfelt speech about the 12 year relationship with Digby Brown and the inspiring work they do that touch many lives throughout Scotland.

Silent Auction and Raffle Prizes

A silent auction was held throughout the night and included prizes such as a round of golf at The Carrick, Cameron House in Loch Lomond, spa package at Archerfield, 6 bottles of Dom Perignon and “Mabel – the highland cow” painting on canvas by Craig Semple.

The raffle prizes were not to be sniffed at and included an overnight stay for 2 at The Balmoral, tickets for opening night of Chicago at the playhouse and a bottle of champagne.

Callanish gets everyone on the dance floor

The band Callanish provided entertainment and a traditional ceilidh to get people on the dance floor.
