The Kirkcaldy office of Digby Brown Solicitors have announced a new partnership with the Cottage Family Centre.

Nominated by Digby Brown’s Fife staff, the organisation will be the law firm’s charity partner of the year.  Digby Brown’s Innes Laing, the firm’s Kirkcaldy Partner, Kathleen McMonagle, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, and Shona Ewing visited the charity last week to meet staff, learn more about their important work in the Fife community and present a cheque to help support these efforts.

The Cottage Family Centre is located in Templehall in West Kirkcaldy, an area which the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation rates in the top 5% most deprived areas in the country. The centre provides a range of help and support to vulnerable families and individuals.

Pauline Buchan from the Cottage Family Centre said:

”We are absolutely delighted to have the support of Digby Brown Solicitors and to have been chosen as their Charity of the Year. This partnership will play a vital role in the support that we offer children and their families on a daily basis and enable us to continue to increase the life chances of families living in the Kirkcaldy area.”

Innes Laing, Digby Brown Kirkcaldy Partner, said:

“Digby Brown are proud to be a local business in Kirkcaldy, helping people in the area and being an active part of the community. We are delighted to be supporting The Cottage Family Centre, an organisation which provides genuinely life-changing support to vulnerable individuals and families. All of us are looking forward to our partnership.”
