Digby Brown staff took part in Edinburgh Marathon for Local Charities

Digby Brown staff from our Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy offices all took part in this years’ Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Team Relay to raise money for their local charity partners.

Digby Brown Edinburgh run for Radio Forth Cash for Kids

Edinburgh staff nominated Radio Forth Cash for Kids as their local charity partner for the year and this is just one event they have in their calendars to raise money for the charity.

Radio Forth Cash for Kids mission to respond to the needs of children in our communities. They support sick, disabled and disadvantaged children aged 0 to 18 years across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Edinburgh office:

“We had two relay teams of 4 people taking part on Sunday. For many this was the first time they had run at an event but the atmosphere was great and really spurred everyone on.

Radio Forth Cash for Kids is a charity close to our hearts and we are ecstatic to say we have raised over £1,300 so far – with donations still coming in. Hopefully this goes some way to helping kids in need in the local area.”

Digby Brown Kirkcaldy run for The Cottage Family Centre

Kirkcaldy staff selected The Cottage Family Centre as their local charity partner and this year has already seen them organise a successful race night to help raise money for the Cottage Family Centre.

The Cottage Family Centre was established in 1987 and they provide support services for families in Kirkcaldy who are vulnerable to social exclusion through factors such as poverty and health related issues.

Kirkcaldy office:

"The run was a great experience, which made all the training worthwhile. The money that we raise for the Cottage Family Centre should help them continue with the vital work they do for families in the local Kirkcaldy area.”
