Digby Brown Supporting Edinburgh Young Drivers 2013

Cars, buses and motorbike traffic in town

At Digby Brown, we know that taking to the road for the first time as a driver is an important rite of passage. It’s an exciting and important time.

We also know, from our first-hand experience of representing young people, their families and friends after an accident, the very real consequences caused by unsafe driving. Sadly, statistics show that young drivers – and their passengers – are more likely to be involved in accidents on our roads.

Digby Brown is supporting Edinburgh Young Drivers 2013, the road safety event for all sixth year pupils in Edinburgh, taking place between September 10th and 12th in the Corn Exchange.  The event aims to do something very important – help new drivers across the city understand all the possible dangers they will face on the road and stay safe. Throughout the event, we’ll be running a Mock Court to highlight the very real consequences of unsafe driving, not just for those behind the wheel but their passengers, their families and their friends.
