This spring will see two important events related to brain injury take place in Aberdeen and Glasgow.  Head Injury Information Days will be completely free to attend and will be designed for people with brain injuries, their families, carers and the organisations who support them.

Digby Brown have been running Head Injury Information Days for a number of years. Previous days have taken place in Glasgow, Inverness and Dumfries and we are particularly excited that next month will see the first Grampian Head Injury Information Day take place in Aberdeen:

The Grampian Head Injury Information Day will take place during Brain Awareness Week, a global annual week-long effort to raise awareness of brain injuries.

Everyone with an interest in this important field is welcome to the event which is an informal one – after a short welcome, attendees will be free to visit stalls and exhibits from a wide range of local and regional organisations and service-providers involved in brain injury.  For those looking to learn about specific areas of research and practice, there will be free presentations from professionals working in the field.

Feedback from previous Head Injury Information Days

“The head info day was really fantastic, it was so well represented and really well organised. Found the presentations I sat through very interesting as well. The service users we brought along with us found it extremely informative. Was nice to see a few old faces of previous service users too!”

“Thanks again for Wednesday, my clients really enjoyed it and were all very impressed with all the exhibits on offer.”

“Everyone from Digby Brown made sure the day, especially the presentations, ran smoothly.  It was a fantastic day and everyone appeared to enjoy it.  Thank you again.”

“Great day, brilliant for networking and sharing ideas and issues; very worthwhile event and great for the future; well done”
