Highland Head Injury Day 2014

Head Injury Information Day (HIID) - Grampian

Tuesday 13th May saw a successful second Highland Head Injury Information Day held in Eden Court in Inverness.

The event for individuals with brain injuries, their families and carers was attended by well over 100 people and 17 organisations across the Highlands who work in this field.

STV News were in attendance and the event featured on the STV News at 6 (Aberdeen, North and the Highlands).

In addition to giving attendees the chance to meet with the organisations present, the day also featured a range of presentations from experts in the field. Chris Stewart, Digby Brown Partner and head of our Serious Injury Department presented “Rehabilitation Matters - a Legal Perspective” while Darrell Kaye, Digby Brown Partner, and a team from our Inverness office were on hand to offer help and advice. The organisation of this fantastic event was led by Digby Brown’s Kathleen McMonagle.
