At Digby Brown we see first hand the effects of road traffic crashes and are committed to doing everything we can to make our roads safer for everyone. Digby Brown are a corporate partner of Brake and sponsors of the Brake helpline in Scotland, while Fraser Simpson is Brake’s spokesperson in Scotland.

Road Safety Week, which runs from 23-29 November, sees Brake launch a national campaign calling on drivers to drive less, live more. The campaign aims to make roads safer, especially for people on foot and bike; save money; make communities more pleasant; protect the environment; and improve public health.

Brake has released statistics which show the numbers of deaths and serious injuries on the roads in the UK and the impact of air pollution and individuals becoming over-reliant on their cars.

The launch of Road Safety Week outside Glasgow City Council Chambers included bike ability training for local school children.
