Band members and attendees at the SHIMS CD launch
SHIMS are an active group of musicians, all of whom are acquired or traumatic brain injury survivors. The group’s mission is to compose and play music which raises awareness of brain injury, an all too often invisible condition.
The group play regularly around Scotland and have appeared at Head Injury Information Days, one-day events, supported by Digby Brown, which bring together groups and organisations working with people living with a brain injury, their families and carers. There are three Head Injury Information Days taking place in 2014.
