Supporting Road Safety Week 2014

Cars, buses and motorbike traffic in town

Digby Brown support and work closely with Brake, the road safety charity.  We see first-hand the result of road traffic crashes and are committed to doing anything we can to help Brake’s campaigns.

Digby Brown Solicitors is a corporate sponsor of Brake, in Scotland, as well as sponsoring the Brake helpline number which is for anyone who has been bereaved or seriously injured in a crash or their carers, whether the crash happened recently or a long time ago.

Today (Monday 17th November) sees the launch of Road Safety Week 2014 and the start of a campaign by Brake that calls on road users to 'Look Out For Each Other' and help stop the deaths and serious injuries we tragically see all too often on our roads. Last year, 172 people were killed and 1,667 people seriously injured in road traffic crashes across Scotland.

Digby Brown Partner Fraser Simpson is Brake’s Scottish Spokesperson. Fraser, along with Kathleen McMonagle, our Client Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, joined Brake at the launch of Road Safety Week in Scotland in Edinburgh.
