West Central Scotland Head Injury Information Day 2015

Head Injury Information Day (HIID) - Glasgow

This spring will see two important events related to brain injury take place in Aberdeen and Glasgow.  Head Injury Information Days will be completely free to attend and will be designed for people with brain injuries, their families, carers and the organisations who support them.

Grampian Head Injury Information Day
Wednesday 18th March 2015, Hilton Treetops Hotel, Aberdeen

West Central Scotland Head Injury Information Day
Wednesday 20th May 2015, Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow

Everyone with an interest in this important field is welcome to attend the events which are informal ones – after a short welcome, attendees will be free to visit stalls and exhibits from a wide range of local and regional organisations and service-providers involved in brain injury.  For those looking to learn about specific areas of research and practice, there will be free presentations from professionals working in the field.

Kathleen McMonagle, Digby Brown Client Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager and organiser of Head Injury Information Day, said:

“All too often brain injury can be a hidden disability but it is important that people are aware of the wide range of support and services they can access.  These events bring together organisations and professionals working in the field and I would really encourage anyone living with a brain injury, their families and carers to come along to either the Grampian or West Central Scotland Head Injury Information Day.”
