Kathryn joined the Network team at our Glasgow office, as a paralegal in July 2019. Kathryn commenced her traineeship within the Glasgow office in September 2020. Kathryn handles mainly employer's liability, occupier's liability and public liability cases.
Kathryn graduated with Honours in 2018 and has since completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Strathclyde University. During her Honours year, Kathryn researched the implications of the Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Act 2017 and whether this would provide access to civil justice for survivors of childhood abuse. During this time, she developed a keen interest in Personal Injury law, particularly in the area of historic abuse.
Kathryn joins the Digby Brown team with prior experience of PI work at a defender firm, due to a desire to help those who have suffered a personal injury secure compensation. Kathryn also studied Spanish as part of her degree and has been a member of SYLA for 2 years.
