Digby Brown Aberdeen held a fundraising race night in aid of Cash for Kids on Thursday 31st August - raising over £2,800 for the charity.

All the money raised locally for Cash for Kids is spent locally and goes to disabled and disadvantaged children and young people under eighteen throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire areas.

Cash for Kids was nominated by Digby Brown’s Aberdeen office as their charity partner for the year. What this essentially means is that the office will fundraise throughout the year solely to support Cash for Kids, with the race night being one of their fundraising events.

The race night was hosted at the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen with sponsorship from Ampersand Advocates, Compass Chambers and MacKinnon Advocates.

The night included betting on the races, sponsored races, a raffle and an auction. Guests who purchased raffle tickets on the night had the opportunity to win from a range of prizes including a Champagne experience voucher donated by Eclectic Fizz, dinner vouchers donated by Café Andaluz, Swedish back massage, sauna and facial voucher donated by Pure Spa and party package for two people donated by Grosvenor Casinos in Aberdeen.

Lisa Gregory, Partner and Head of Digby Brown Aberdeen said: “We look forward to supporting Cash for Kids this year, a charity that is close to our hearts here in Aberdeen.

“We were absolutely delighted to raise such an incredible amount on the race night with every penny going towards helping children locally in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.”
