The Brae

The Brae has been offering horse riding therapy for both disabled adults and children in the Dundee area for 10 years. The centre helps people affected by an accident or serious illness the opportunity to ride a horse and in turn, this provides them with an opportunity to regain mobility and a sense of independence.

Robert Kernaghan partner from the Dundee office said:

“We have been so proud to support The Brae over the past two years. It has been truly humbling seeing the work that the team and volunteers do to give so many disabled adults and children the opportunity to work with the horses they have.

“It has been fantastic to be able to raise such a significant amount of money for The Brae and we know the money is being put to good use to help keep this vital service running.”

The Brae commented saying:

"Over the past 2 years Digby Brown Dundee have been raising money for The Brae as their Charity of the Year. We were over the moon to welcome the girls to the centre to present their final cheque of £8,436.90. The team have worked so hard to raise over £18,000 to pay for our new lift and we cannot thank them enough for their determination, hard work and support. Our lift is a vital piece of equipment that is used everyday and without it we couldnt provide our lessons.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH Digby Brown Dundee for being a part of The Brae and our lifelong friends."

For 2018 the Dundee office have chosen the Food Train as their local charity partner for the year. This charity offer a range of services, delivered by volunteers, to older people living in the local Dundee area. This includes food shopping, household support services and befriending services.
