Digby Brown has a long history of working with lawyers across Scotland to achieve the best possible outcome for those involved in accidents.
Digby Brown today is Scotland’s largest specialist claimant personal injury practice.
The firm is rated in Band 1 for personal injury work in Scotland by the leading independent publications, Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and Legal 500.
With offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Inverness, Aberdeen and Ayr, it handles cases across Scotland. The firms' expertise in personal injury law, particularly in the fields of head and spinal injury claims is widely acknowledged.
We are always happy to provide a consultancy service for other law firms.
You can send us your file or papers and we will look at it and advise on the merits or quantum, entirely free of charge.
Alternatively, Digby Brown run the Compensate Personal Injury Network which allows firms of Solicitor to offer clients a top quality no win no fee personal injury service free of hidden costs or risk.
Cases can be referred directly or working in partnership. To find out more about the the Network please see below.
Alternatively, you may wish to instruct us to litigate as your Court of Session agent, in which case we can provide a complete funding and indemnity package through our funding arm, Compensate.
If we accept a case under the Compensate scheme we pay substantial commission at the end of the case.
The client remains your client. If you refer a client to a local competitor, you risk losing the client to that firm.
However, as we deal purely with personal injury cases, we will always refer your client back to you at the end of the case for financial advice or ancillary matters, such as conveyancing.
Finally, you may simply wish to pass the entire case to us and leave us to pursue it, in which case we would again pay substantial commission at the end of the case.
The firm is structured into practice units with over 120 fee earners spread across our network of offices in Scotland.
We have specialist departments dealing with the specific needs of people who have brain injuries, spinal injuries, industrial disease, criminal injuries, medical negligence as well as motorcycle accidents and uninsured loss recovery.
At Digby Brown we aim to provide a quality proactive service.
Our ethos is not to allow third party insurers to dictate the pace of a claim, but to exercise control from the outset. We are not afraid to litigate.
We have developed our own case management system, to which our referrers can be given secure direct access.
We will happily tailor our procedures and reporting practices to your requirements.
