Digby Brown Chief Executive Fraser Oliver receives the Business Leadership Award 2025

Digby Brown is delighted to announce our Chief Executive Fraser Oliver has been recognised by the Scottish Legal Awards. 

For the second time he has received the Business Leadership Award, ten years after being named the sector’s Managing Partner of the Year in 2015.

Fraser joined Digby Brown in 1994 as a newly qualified solicitor in Dundee, quickly taking on leadership roles and becoming a partner in 1998. 

He moved to Glasgow in 2002 to head the Union department and later led the firm’s Injury Litigation department, its largest at the time.

In 2008 he joined the Executive board and became the firm’s first ever Chief Executive in 2013. 

Under his leadership the firm has continued to grow with a new eighth office due to open in the coming year. 

Fraser said: “It’s a great honour to receive the Business Leadership Award from the Scottish Legal Awards.

“To accept this for a second time is incredibly special as it recognises the continued growth and hard work of everyone at the firm. 

“At Digby Brown we are one team and I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for everyone who works at the firm. 

“I want to thank them for their dedication to supporting clients and striving for the highest standards to make the firm both successful and a great place to work.”
