Kate Cloherty

Kate graduated from Strathclyde University in 2013 with LLB (Hons) and then went onto obtain her Diploma in Legal Practice in 2014. She trained with Digby Brown in Glasgow and latterly Ayr. She qualified as a a Solicitor in 2016 and worked in the Ayr office until October 2018. In this period she enjoyed assisting clients who had developed both physical and or psychiatric injuries through no fault of their own.

In October 2018, Kate moved to work for a firm in Glasgow where she gained insight in how insurers and businesses deal with claims. She returned to the Glasgow office of Digby Brown as a Senior Solicitor in 2020. She has enjoyed returning to work with people who she can assist in obtaining compensation and also treatment to ensure their recovery. 
 
Kate enjoys dealing with court work whether that be in the All Scotland Personal Injury Sheriff Court or the local courts through the West of Scotland. She specialises in a variety of cases including road traffic accidents, accidents at work as well as public and occupiers liability.
