Trish joined Digby Brown in 1999. She is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and qualified in 2000.

Trish is a Partner within the Clinical Negligence Department in Edinburgh and is an accredited specialist in medical negligence law with the Law Society of Scotland. Trish is also an accredited Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is a Notary Public and is personally recognised by Chambers & Partners. She deals with a wide range of clinical and medical negligence claims in Scotland.

Trish has been involved in many complex clinical negligence cases including birth injury and fatal claims. In one case, Trish represented a client whose husband died because medical staff failed to diagnose his lung cancer properly. She was able to successfully argue that both the A&E health board and the client's GP both failed in their duty of care.

Trish is often asked to speak at Medical Negligence conferences and take part in panels, given her depth of knowledge and experience in this specialist area of law.

In addition, Trish has a wealth of experience in dealing with all types of personal injury cases, mainly within the Court of Session but also in the Sheriff Courts.
