Baking a difference for Mesothelioma UK

Staff from our Industrial Disease department were busy this week baking delicious treats to raise funds for Mesothelioma UK as part of their ‘Muffins for Meso in May’ campaign.
The team from Glasgow produced cupcakes, blondies, tablet, tray bakes, cookies and much more to support the national charity for those affected by mesothelioma.
Judging the bakes were Clinical Nurse Specialist, Carolyn MacRae, and Clydebank Asbestos Group volunteer, Kenny Clark, who were bowled over by the team’s efforts.
In the end, the judges named Caitlyn Maccabe the Star Baker who won with her white chocolate and raspberry blondies.
Following the judging, staff from the Glasgow office were invited to buy the bakes for a donation to the charity and a fantastic total of £302.85 was raised.
Well done to everyone who participated and thank you to all who donated!
