Today a legal judgment was published in the case of Colin Mather v easyJet & DRK Hamburg Mediservice.

We act for Mr Mather in this legal action. Here is his statement:

Colin Mather said: “I’m aware of the appeal judgment but as the case is still ongoing I don’t wish to make any comment.

“I am grateful to those who have supported me since I was injured but I need to remain focused on my recovery and my family so I just wish to have my privacy respected.”

Mr Mather was injured after falling from his wheelchair while being escorted off of an aeroplane.

The father from Edinburgh is being supported by our Foreign & Travel team.

As the case is ongoing and no further comment or information can be provided at this time.
