Digby Brown delighted to support Compass BISL BBQ
Digby Brown were delighted to support the Compass Brain Injury Specialists Ltd for their summer BBQ which took place in August.
This year the event was hosted at the Cocoabean Company in Kirkcudbirght and and was attended by over a 100 people including those who use Compass BISL’s services along with their families and carers as well as Compass BISL and Digby Brown staff.
There were various activities available throughout the day including chocolate workshops, a BBQ and access to indoor and outdoor play areas for the children.
Compass BISL are a specialised service for adults, children and young people with an acquired brain injury. They offer support to these individuals as well as their families and carers to adjust to the changes faced by a serious brain injury.
Chris Stewart, Head of Digby Brown’s Serious Injury team, went along to the day with members of the team.
"We are extremely proud of our partnership with Compass BISL who do great work supporting people living with acquired brain injury. Our Serious Injury team works daily with people who have been affected by this hidden disability and know only too well how lives can be changed. We were pleased that so many families came along to this fun day out and we were delighted to be able to support this event."
