Digby Brown Industrial Disease team raise money for Asbestos Action with 20-mile trek

ID team walk for Asbestos Action

Earlier this month nine members of our Industrial Disease team took on a mammoth 20-mile trek to raise much needed funds for Asbestos Action.

Setting off from South Queensferry, the team headed across the Forth Road Bridge before walking along the picturesque Fife Coastal Trail and finishing in Kincardine.

They weren’t alone either! Some staff from the Dundee charity joined them along the route, turning it into a fantastic team effort with the weather staying dry for all the walkers.

The Industrial Disease team works closely with Asbestos Action, a Scottish charity that helps and supports those who have suffered from asbestos-related diseases. They have a dedicated 24-hour helpline service where they aim to answer any questions and help access benefits.

Digby Brown has worked with Asbestos Action since 2002 offering a variety of support including free welfare and benefits advice to their members.

The team raised a fantastic £3,097 - well done to everyone for taking on this challenge!
