Digby Brown offices take on Edinburgh marathon for charity

Edinburgh Marathon 2016

Staff from Digby Brown’s Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Kirkcaldy offices are taking part in the 2018 Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Team Relay to raise money for their local charity partners.

The relay divides the 26.2-mile marathon into four sections. The first runner will cover a distance of 8.3 miles, with the second runner covering 5.5 miles, the third completing 8 miles with the last finishing the final 4.5 mile stretch.

Edinburgh team on behalf of Fresh Start

This year, our Edinburgh office is raising money for their charity partner Fresh Start which supports homeless people settle into a new home.

There will be two relay teams with Simon Hammond and Edward Ferguson taking on the first leg with Rachel Black and Ashley Sturrock running the final leg. Other relay members include Kim Catterall, Hollie Dilasser and Lyndsey Gardner with Donald Mackay taking on the half marathon on the day.

Kirkcaldy office run for Frontline Fife

Frontline Fife provide advice and support to people affected by homelessness.

The Kirkcaldy relay team consist of Innes Laing, Ryan Smith, Adelle Walker and Claire Thomson.

Dundee office fundraise for Food Train

Our Dundee office has chosen Food Train as its local charity partner for 2018. This volunteer-led charity offers a range of services to older people living in Scotland. This includes food shopping, household support services and befriending services.

Two relay teams are taking part with Chris Ritchie, Ally Dunlop, Jennifer Watson and Steph Reid in one, and Claudia McEachen, Sarah Douglas, Euan Robertson and Matthew Keogh in the second.

Aberdeen runs for Cash for Kids

Our Aberdeen office nominated Cash for Kids as its local charity partner and all funds raised from the relay will be spent locally, helping disabled and disadvantaged children and young people throughout Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

The Aberdeen relay team comprises Neil Davidson, Jordan McCarter, Kimberley MacLennan and Amy Shand.

Ayr office 52 mile cycle for Ayrshire Cancer Support

We didn’t want to leave out our Ayr office who are taking part in the Five Ferries Challenge this weekend as well. This challenge begins at 8.24am on Saturday 25th May and our office will cycle an incredible 52 miles in aid of Ayrshire Cancer Support. The Ayr cycle team, pictured below, is Damian White, Colin Moffat, Lee Murray and Chantelle Robertson.
