Digby Brown staff roll up their sleeves to support local causes this Christmas
Staff from across the firm have been busy bringing festive cheer to their local communities in a whole host of different ways this month.
Here’s what they’ve been up to…
Felicity and Sarah from our Edinburgh office supported The Yard with their festive preparations, helping decorate the centre in time for their Christmas events.
Our Glasgow office got into the festive spirit at Horatio’s Garden by preparing wreaths to be sold at their Christmas Fair, all to support the charity’s fundraising efforts.
Ava and Kirsten from our Glasgow office then supported The Garden at their Fair by providing delicious sweet treats to patients and their loved ones.
More wreath making up next as our Inverness office hosted a festive workshop and raised a fantastic £500 for their local office charity partner, Halo (Highland Action for Little Ones). This incredible amount will be matched by the firm.
Edinburgh staff held a Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for their local charity partner, Edinburgh Young Carers, and a trio from the office later used their employee volunteering day to support the Erskine Veterans Charity with a leaflet drop in the local area to promote their Edinburgh Care Home.
Kimberley and Victoria from our Aberdeen office attended the Brain Injury Grampian Group’s Christmas party to support the day’s activities and provide some festive treats to share with all the members.
Our Glasgow office held a bumper Christmas Fun Day to raise funds for their local charity partner, Crossbasket House. Donning their Christmas jumpers, staff organised a raffle and a festive bake sale and brought in more than £740 for the charity which will be matched by the firm.
The firm also helped decorate the day room at the Spinal Injuries Unit in preparation for the annual Spinal Injuries Scotland Christmas Social event. The night was full of festive fun with patients and their families enjoying tasty pizza and several rounds of bingo with prizes to be won.
Well done to all our people who helped make this a December to remember for those in our local communities.
It matters!
