Digby Brown staff take on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk in aid of charity partner Edinburgh Young Carers

Charity kiltwalk with Edinburgh staff

Earlier this month, a team of 17 from our Edinburgh office stepped up to walk the 21-mile Mighty Stride across the city.

Starting off bright and early at Holyrood Park, the team set off towards Musselburgh with determination despite the grey clouds forming overhead.

The scenic route took them along the coast through Portobello, on to Leith and then westward through Victoria Park before the final push to the end at Murrayfield Stadium.

Several hours (and many steps) later our walkers crossed the finish line with tired legs, big smiles and a huge sense of achievement. Not to mention a well-earned post-walk ice cream!

The team were raising money for Edinburgh Young Carers which is the 2025 Edinburgh office charity partner. They provide support to young people living in Edinburgh who care for somebody at home.

The organisation’s mission is to improve the lives and wellbeing of young carers through practical and emotional support, and through offering opportunities to find respite from caring in a fun and friendly environment.

Thanks to the hard work of the Edinburgh staff and the support of friends and family, an incredible £1,453.75 was raised. This was then matched by the firm, bringing the total raised to an amazing £2,907.50!

Huge well done to the Edinburgh staff!
