Digby Brown win Litigation Team of the Year 2021 Scottish Legal Awards

The Serious Injury team collect their award at the Scottish Legal Awards.

Digby Brown won the Litigation Team of the Year at the 2021 Scottish Legal Awards last night.

The Litigation Team of the Year award is in recognition of the remarkable success of the firm’s Serious Injury department over the last 12 months.

The award is the result of the efforts and dedication of the Serious Injury team and the myriad of ways that they help survivors of brain and spinal cord injuries or limb amputations.

This is done not just by delivering record sums of compensation but by providing bespoke care packages that cover all the support required by survivors – including yet further help provided by the firm’s Welfare Rights team.

This recognition also came swiftly behind Digby Brown winning the Catastrophic Injury Team of the Year prize at the 2020 Personal Injury Awards, an event that recognises the top UK law firms, in December last year.

Fraser Oliver, Chief Executive at Digby Brown, said: “What makes these awards so notable is that they illustrate the very ethos of Digby Brown – to excel in our legal expertise and be committed in giving back.

“As one team we follow simple but powerful values aimed at supporting clients, each other and our communities – admittedly, during 2020 it required a bit of innovative thinking to achieve this but as the nominations prove, our staff still pulled it off.

“I congratulate the Serious Injury team at Digby Brown for their efforts and I am equally pleased to see the Scottish Legal Awards panel give them the recognition they deserve.”
