Kirkcaldy office raise £3,000 for Support in Mind Scotland

Kirkcaldy Office handover cheque for £3,000 to Support in Mind

Our Kirkcaldy office was delighted to gift £3,000 to Support in Mind Scotland Fife Services last week.

Funds were raised throughout 2019 by hosting charity quiz nights, body shop parties and a weekly tuckshop.

And after being inspired by the charity’s mission to improve mental health across Fife, the team also pledged to back the charity again in 2020.

Iain Mitchell, Senior Community Partnership Fundraising Officer for Support in Mind Scotland, said:

“Thank you so much to everyone at Digby Brown for their fundraising efforts, and genuine enthusiasm for the work of Support in Mind Scotland.

“Year one of our partnership with Digby Brown in Kirkcaldy has been fantastic, and we were blown away to receive a cheque for £3k to mark the halfway point.

“This money will make a big difference to our work across Fife, and enable us to continue providing much-needed services to people suffering with mental illness in the area.

“We can’t wait to see what the second year of this wonderful partnership will bring.”

Lianda Barnes, Partner in the Kirkcaldy office, said: “Support in Mind Scotland do an incredible job and it fills us with pride to play a small part in helping the charity achieve its goals.

“That’s why we’ve pledged to back them again for a second year.

“Every day we see the emotional and mental impact that result from accidents and it inspires us to do everything we can to help, even outside the court room - that’s why we are passionate about helping vital services like Support in Mind Scotland.”
