Kirkcaldy solicitors raise over £3,000 for Frontline Fife
Solicitors in Digby Brown’s Kirkcaldy office were excited to present a cheque for £3,059 to their chosen charity for 2017 Frontline Fife.
The cheque was presented to Ruth Young and June Greenhorn from Frontline Fife by Innes Laing, Partner in the Kirkcaldy office and Shona Ewing the Charity Ambassador for the Kirkcaldy office.
Funds were raised over the year through various activities including a Quiz night which raised £1,400 alone, the Kiltwalk and the very popular Charity Tuckshop held weekly in the office.
Frontline Fife have made it their mission to end homelessness in Fife by helping those who find themselves homeless and supporting them to live independently.
The charity also work with those who are at risk of homelessness and provide support to prevent this from happening.
For 2018 Digby Brown’s Kirkcaldy office are delighted to continue supporting Frontline Fife and already have plans for their annual quiz night, a marathon relay, race night and of course the continuation of the tuck shop.
Ruth Young from Frontline Fife said:
"We were delighted to receive this donation from Digby Brown Kirkcaldy and are extremely grateful for all of the fundraising activities they have undertaken over the past year to raise funds for our charity. This money will be used to provide additional assistance and help to people who find themselves homeless or threatened with homelessness across Fife. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Digby Brown for the next year."
Innes Laing said:
“As an office of only 11 people we are delighted to have raised such a significant amount for such an essential local charity. Frontline Fife make a huge difference to the lives of so many vulnerable people in Kirkcaldy and all over Fife, and we are so proud to be able to support them again in 2018.”
