More than £6,000 raised for Brain Injury Grampian Group at Aberdeen race night

Aberdeen staff and members of Brain Injury Grampian Group gathered at The Ashvale restaurant for a charity race night

Staff from our Aberdeen office hosted a race night fundraiser last month in aid of their local charity partner, Brain Injury Grampian Group (BIG Group).

Held at The Ashvale known for its fish and chips, the race night brought together Digby Brown staff, members from BIG Group, family and friends for a fantastic evening of fundraising.

With a bumper raffle filled with prizes and of course several rounds of horse racing, the night brought in an incredible £3,125 thanks to the generosity of attendees.

When matched by the firm, this means a massive £6,250 will go to the charity.

Kimberley MacLennan, Associate in our Aberdeen office, commented: "With the help of the amazing staff from The Ashvale the night went without a hitch and everyone enjoyed their fish suppers as well as the horse racing.

"BIG Group is a wonderful charity which supports those affected by Acquired Brain Injury - arranging regular talks and any rehabilitation help they can. They also help to combat social isolation by arranging events throughout the year.

“We’ve had feedback from everyone who attended that they had a fabulous time - even if their horses were having a lazy day – and we’re so pleased with the amount raised for such a brilliant cause."

Well done, team Aberdeen!
