Staff step up for Crossbasket House raising more than £4,000 at Glasgow Kiltwalk

At the end of April an 11-strong team from our Glasgow office laced up their walking shoes and took on the Glasgow Kiltwalk in support of their local charity partner, Crossbasket House.
Though the rain persisted, spirts were high as the team set off on their journey from Clydebank to Balloch donning their Crossbasket House t-shirts to support the charity.

Several hours and a few race-day selfies later, staff completed the 14.3-mile ‘Big Stroll’, still smiling at the finish line.

Crossbasket House (formerly Ronald McDonald House Glasgow), is a charity which gives families a place to stay while their child is seriously ill in hospital.
Children and families from all over Scotland and further afield who receive treatment at the children's hospital in Glasgow can end up very far from home for weeks, months or even years at a time. The House helps keep families together by providing free, high-quality accommodation only a few minutes’ walk from the hospital.
The team raised a fantastic £2,050 which will be matched by the firm meaning an incredible £4,100 will go to the charity.
Well done, team Glasgow!
