Supporting Edinburgh Headway summer event

We were delighted to support Edinburgh Headway Group’s summer event this year which took place at the group’s new premises at Peffer Place earlier this month on Wednesday 7th August, a great day full of fun for the group’s service users.

For over 30 years, Edinburgh Headway has been supporting people locally with a brain injury, along with their families and carers. They run rehabilitation services through their day service and carer support to those caring for a relative or friend with a brain injury. 

As part of their services, they also hold regular outings and events including an annual summer BBQ. This year we offered to support the event by providing the BBQ catering and some entertainment from a DJ and multi-talented balloonist/magician.

Kirsten Smith, CSR Manager at Digby Brown, commented on the day saying: “The team at Edinburgh Headway offer an invaluable service to individuals in the local community affected by brain injury and we were honoured to support the group’s annual summer BBQ.  Thankfully the sun shone – despite some serious warnings and everyone had a great time.”
