Supporting The Caledonian Crushers Rugby Wheelchair Club

Caledonian Crushers in action

The Caledonian Crushers Rugby Wheelchair Club have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and earlier this week Digby Brown were delighted to confirm our continued sponsorship of the club.

Chris Stewart, Partner and Head of Digby Brown’s Serious Injury Department and Kathleen McMonagle, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, met with Donald Hutton and Jason Speirs from the Caledonian Crushers, presenting a cheque for £5,000 as part of our ongoing support.

Established in 2010, the club are based in Glasgow but have players from across Scotland, training at Emirates Arena to take advantage of some of the best facilities in the whole of the UK.

Wheelchair rugby is a fast paced, full contact team sport open to both sexes and to most levels of disabilities, especially those with higher levels of disabilities for whom there are very few options to take part in sport.

The Club website has a wide range of information on both its history and how it is faring in a range of national competitions.
