Victims of NHS Tayside jaw surgeries seek legal support

Following media reports, Digby Brown Solicitors can confirm it is supporting NHS Tayside patients following prosthetic jaw treatment.

The surgical errors were revealed in August 2025 when the health board wrote to 44 victims who were identified after an internal review.

A Digby Brown spokesman confirmed: "I can confirm we are helping a number of NHS Tayside patients in relation to errors around prosthetic jaw surgeries.

"The investigations are at an early stage and it would be inappropriate to comment further however full support will be provided to those affected."

The legal investigations were confirmed in local media today.
